Controlled irrigation keeps the quality of the finished riding surface at its optimum, a perfect base for horses joints, tendons and ligaments during exercise. Where surfaces are not regularly levelled, dragged and watered, the surface is in real danger of being contaminated with the sub-base and the membrane being damaged.

A permanently installed irrigation system comes with many advantages. Watering by hand is generally a huge effort and it can also be quite costly, especially if you do not have your own well for a water supply.
